For refunds or cancellations of your insurance premium, you must contact your insurance carrier directly using the contact information on your policy documents.

2. Our Advisory Services Are Free

Our quote comparison, advisor consultations, and referral services are provided to you at no charge. Because we do not charge you a fee for our advisory services, there is no payment to refund for using our website or speaking with our advisors.

3. Insurance Policy Cancellations & Refunds

If you purchase an insurance policy through a carrier we referred you to, the following general guidelines apply — though exact terms vary by carrier and policy type:

  • Free Look Period: Most insurance policies include a 10–30 day "free look" period after purchase during which you may cancel for a full refund of premiums paid, minus any applicable fees
  • Mid-Term Cancellation: If you cancel after the free look period, you may receive a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of your policy term, subject to the carrier's cancellation terms
  • Non-Refundable Fees: Some carriers charge a cancellation or processing fee that is deducted from any refund amount
  • Claims-Affected Policies: If a claim has been filed or paid under your policy, refund eligibility may be reduced or voided per the carrier's terms
